Timbalooloo classes are about learning an approach to music that will empower children throughout their whole lives, no matter what instrument they choose in the future.
It is about deeply understanding the fundamental aspects of music in a way that becomes intuitive so that the students really internalize these concepts for ever.
We take inspiration from the way that young children learn languages naturally at this age -- they are able to internalize all the rules of grammar in a much deeper way than older students who typically are taught to memorize the rules. We believe that with the proper approach we can strengthen a child's intuitive understanding of how music works so that they can become fluent in the language of music !
